Medications Collected by RxBOX Program

Measurement Period: 2022
The indicator shows the amount of medications collected by the DuPage County RxBOX program annually.

Why is this important?

When drugs are readily available, there is a higher risk for potential use by teens.* One method of decreasing access to prescription drugs and other medications is to reduce the amount of unused or expired medications in households. Through the DuPage County RxBOX program, medications are collected and disposed of in a way that is safest for the environment.
